Volunteer Awards 2024
At our AGM at the end of October Westmorland RDA was delighted to present Long time volunteer Faith and driving coach Jenny both received pearl certificates for an amazing 30 years of service to the group.
Annette, our President, received a certificate for a highly creditable 25 years of service.
Adele, Sarah, Barbara, Liz and Clare all received certificates for 5 years’ service.
Fiona, Rebekah and Marie received certificates for 1 year’s service.
The certificates were presented by Pauline Harrison, our Regional Chair, and later by Rebecca Kemp our County Chair.
Trophies
In addition to these service awards, our Group was presented with the Northern Region Cup. This is awarded to a Group that is judged to have made a significant contribution above what is expected from the basic running of an RDA Group. Our Chair, Cathy Broomfield, received The Northern Region Individual Cup, which is awarded to an individual from any Group within the Region, who is deemed to have ‘gone the extra mile’.
Well done all and grateful thanks. What amazing achievements and dedication in supporting our riders an drivers. We couldn’t do it without you.
